I've been learning quite a lot from Mike whilst he's been doing his PHD. He introduced me to Wordle the other day which is an online toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text, so it's very good for using with essays. As well as providing bodies of text, you can also input the url from a blog. So, I typed in this one and out came this: 

It all looks fairly equal in word use at the moment, but I'm interested to see how this changes over time. I will try it out every month or so and see what happens.
